“ This is a cozy bar and restaurant in South Dunedin. One thing that makes me interested is they have specials deals and promotions during the week. So you can choose which suit you. The staffs are friendly and provides excellent services. Price is good, taste yum, cozy dining room, clean and they play the music fairly. Will back next time to experiencing other dish. ”
“ Had delicious lunch today. Chicken schnitzel was yummy and comparatively bigger size.fresh greens, tender chicken and tasty mushroom gravy. Chicken burger was also tasty. Quite good filling and chips are crispy.Service and atmosphere was good. one of the best bar food in dunedin. ”
“ Another one of the top grade food in South Dunedin. This is a restaurant cum bar which serves traditional pub foods. We all like the food we had here during boxing day. They were nicely done and delicious, especially the porky ones. I'm a bit disappointed that the blue cod was not so fresh. But the prawns were springy and fresh. Service and serving of food was fast, and the place had a quiet ambience, which is good for catching up with family and friends. ”
“ Found this place by chance while looking for a dinner venue that didn’t have a long wait. They have parking out at the back for guests and also has a gaming zone at the back of the restaurant. Food was ok and service was not as quick as they only had 2 associates on the floor serving the dining area (which is fair given the number of customers at that point in time - around 6.30pm). The cod dish was fresh and nicely fried, fries could have been a little crispier. The roast lamb was nice and soft, with crisp baby potatoes and steamed vegetables at the side which was fresh as well. You usually have rings for calamari so this was a little odd shaped. If you need a quick decent meal without long queues, here’s a place for you to go. The price to value ratio is 1, so you get what you pay for. ”
“ We had the roast lamb on mother's day. Everything about our meal was fantastic. Generous serving of meat and gravy and eight vegetables with it (cauliflower, broccoli, roast kumera, roast potato, roast pumpkin, peas, green beans and carrots). Great atmosphere, and friendly attentive staff. Would highly recommend. ”
